We lack collective imagination and kindship towards the Earth.

Short-term solutions, innovation demands a lot, sustainability replies to business as usual.  The current global models are not broken, causing more harm than benefits.

Mindfulness

Imagine futures where all life is revalued and the Earth thrive with the guidance of the Earth defenders and custodians.

Beautiful Nature

Reforest your work with imagination

Do you dare to imagine your work in 500 years from now?

There is a realm of possibilities

Instead of being paralised by complex challenges we want to expand the realm of possibilities trough imagining in a wide ecosystem of business, Ngos, funders, academia, governmental and international  institutions to deep dialogue with Indigenous and local voices.

Woman Weaving

We offer a unique space to imagine together with Indigenous Peoples - the defenders and custodians of the Earth, and learn about reciprocal relationships and intergenerational thinking.

  • Format
Immersive learning journeys and storytelling circles.

    Activity
Explore the "hidden stories" behind current your work and organization models, the assumptions and tensions about change, innovation, power, technology, sustainability, time, doing good, success, efficiency, scaling, methodologies and frameworks.

Dialogues with Indigenous knowledge holders and community leaders to explore these assumptions.

    Outcome

New perspectives, identifying the boundaries of our current imagination.

    Example
A workshop on decolonizing innovations for students working on international development projects, in collaboration with WarīNkwī Flores.

  • Format
    Speculative design workshops

    Activity
Using creative prompts and facilitated by Indigenous guides, fellows will not analyze problems but prototype possibilities.
We might design a "Board of All Beings," map a "Supply Chain of Reciprocity Relationship," or draft the charter for a "Kinship-Led organization."

    Outcome
A portfolio of speculative concepts, narratives, artifacts, and practices, that make a reciprocal future tangible.

    Example

The Cultural Knowledge Revival Program researches, documents and shares the rich cultural and ecological knowledge of the Samia people.

We worked on a publications, and exhibitions that showcase Indigenous wisdom and, in collaboration with local schools, explore how it can be integrated into local education and climate adaptation efforts.

  • Format
    Narrative strategy and New partnerships.
We translate the imagined futures into powerful new narratives to facilitate change. Participants will learn to articulate and share these visions to inspire their teams, boards, and funders, moving the conversation from "what is" to "what if?"

    Outcomes

    Outcome

A compelling narrative of possibility and hope for this new future.

Gaza Travel Agency presents an imaginary travel agency that designs the return of Gazan refugees to their ancestral towns. It is a speculative and participatory design experience inspired by historian Dr. Salman Abu Sitta’s practical plans for the return of Palestinian refugees. It invites visitors to visualise, not debate, the routes, possibilities, and emotions of return.
