Design Reparations is participating in Nairobi Design Week! In collaboration with Kenge Content Hive we are engaging the local Samia community of Busia county, on the shores of Lake Victoria and then engaging the visitors of Nairobi Design Week in conversations around the decolonization of design.

Supporting the reseach with designers from Kenya
Collecting of ancestral wisdom from local Kenyan elders, done with our local team.
Supporting a workshop in Busia, Kenya with local elders and youth to discuss about climate change related issues and how to tackle them.
Supporting our exhibition at Nairobi Design Week around Decolonization and Climate Justice
Designing the discussion panel on design decolonization
Define together a series of projects around climate justice to be kicked off, lead by our local team, with the guidance of elders from the Samia people, where designers will be able to contribute with their skills.
